Interpretation Clause

These were ratified by representatives of the World Amputee Football Federation Congress held in Niteroi, Brazil, in August 2005.

In interpreting these Statutes and regulations the words:
1.  WAFF means «World Amputee Football Federation» WAFF
2. «Federation» means «World Amputee Football Federation». Federation
3. «FIFA» means «Fédération Internationale Internationale de Football Association». FIFA
4. «An Association» or «the associations» refer to the national associations of the World Amputee Football Federation, except where the context denotes a different meaning. Association
5. «League» means an internal organization subordinated to a national association.   League
6. «Confederation» is a group of national associations affiliated to WAFF and belonging to the same continent (or assimilable geographic entity).   Confederation
7. The «Executive Committee» means the Executive Committee of WAFF as constituted in accordance with these Statutes.   Executive Committee
8. «Member» means a national association which is in membership with WAFF or a person who is a member of committee of  WAFF.   Member
9. «Officials» mean all board members, coaches, trainers and people responsible for technical, medical and administrative matters in a confederation, national association, league, club or team.   Officials
10. The term «association football» refers to the game specifically governed by FIFA and as regulated by the FIFA’s Laws of the Game.   Association Football
11. The term «Federation Football» refers to the game specifically governed by World Amputee Folotball Federation and as regulated by the WAFF’s Laws of the Game. World Amputee Football Federation
12. The term «Laws of the Game» refers to the laws specifically regulating federation football, except where a context denotes a different meaning. Laws of the Game
13. The term «Club» means  a sports club which practices federation football and is in membership with a national association, or a provisional membership directly with WAFF. Club
14. The term «Team» means a federation football team which is in membership with a national association, or a provisional membership directly with WAFF. Team
