Amputee Football Mourns the Loss of Rev. Robert Mawlue Karloh

The entire world of amputee football is saddened by the loss of Rev. Karloh. He was a powerful force not only in the development of our sport in Africa, but also through his work to raise the spirit of the disabled and to incorporate the disabled as full members of the society.
He will be missed.

We are very afflicted by news about of the death of the Rev. Robert Mawlue Karloh. He made a many useful efforts to the development of our football in Africa and strengthened the international sports contact among amputees of different continents.
Here, in Russia, we shall keep a kind memory about him.

Reverend Karloh will go down as one of the great leaders of our sport. He not only opened the joy of this game to his own countrymen, he shared his personal and social vision throughout a continent.
Because of his generosity of spirit a whole generation of those experiencing limb loss are now viewed as individuals with dignity, reconciliation and peace.
We offer our deepest condolences to his family, to his organization and to his players.
